Dream bag: FURLA from the capsule collection in honor of Russia | Fashion
19 June 2018
The Russian national team continues to please the fans with its successes, and at this crucial moment even sports that are far from football awaken sports excitement and desire to support our team. And this opportunity is now every fashionista! If [LouisVuitton's] Louis Vuitton in honor of the raging World Cup came out a collection inspired by soccer balls, then FURLA found inspiration in one of the main images of Russian culture – in a matryoshka doll.
Right on the day of the first match of the mundial, on June 14, sales of a limited collection of the legendary model Metropolis started. In the line with the code name "Matryoshka" three handbags and three prints that honor Russia, host country of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The first print on a black background tells of the diversity of Russian dolls.
The second – depicts two nested dolls in flowers and twigs on a white background …
… and the third – on a pink background the figures of four dolls in blue and lilac shades.
As a supplement to the three models, purses with the same prints as on handbags, as well as a keychain in the form of a nesting doll, were issued.
Metropolis Matryoshka will be sold exclusively in Russia for one month – from June 14 to July 15, 2018 in flagship boutiques Furla including GUM in Moscow and the shopping center "Gallery" in St. Petersburg, as well as in stores in Sochi, Yekaterinburg and Rostov-on-Don. Also the collection will be available exclusively in the online store at furla.com/en.
It seems to us that the Russian beauty has succeeded in the Italians, but what will you say?
