Maria Shumakova and other guests of the Innocent Baranov exhibition “Love Story” | Culture
February 05, 2019
The other day in the apartment complex "Art Residence" the opening of the artist Innocent Baranov "Love Story" . ] took place.
Is it worth talking today about love – because so much has already been said about it? Yes, it is worth it: after all, it is lightning, blazing between two potentials of incredible tension, the world and man. Love is a symbol of the incomprehensible past, the indomitable length of time; you can sing it in a thousand languages, you can talk about it in color. You should not only be silent about her – because then her flame will go out.
Love in Innocent Baranov is the velvet of evening twilight the color of wine. Primitive simplicity of pine forest. The sheer freedom to make mistakes, to stray from the road and not get there at all, rejoicing in this, like children. A reminder that we stared down at our feet and forgot about our joint ownership of all the winds, roads and dawns of the world.
For an artist, life without love looks like someone handed God a canvas and black paint, leaving him no other entertainment. Therefore, love through the eyes of Baranova is light and color, and it is everywhere. In the boats, floating away in the sea, which sprinkles them with light blue. In the furious emerald fire groves, in bursting chestnuts, and more – in contempt for the distances and seasons. The artist teaches us to feel that this moment exists – not here, so there; after all, to find love requires only a heart and a desire to see.
"- The world is driven by love – living and all-encompassing. It is the love of life in all
of its manifestations. Love for people, for nature, for art. For our planet. Today we look at it from space and see what it is small, infinitely beautiful and defenseless. The artist is able to see in it what is not visible to ordinary optics ", – says Innocent Baranov.
The event was attended: Maria Shumakova, Svetlana Kamynina, Masha Tsigal, Daria Mikhalkova, Anastasia Grischenko, Mila Morales with her husband Sergey Anisimov and others.
Anastasia Gryshchenko and Innokentiy Baranov
The exhibition will last until February 28, 2019.
